Aceh Birder with Hakim Bale Bujang village manage Bur Mulo Forest Park in Takengon of Gayo Highland Sumatra. Bur Mulo Forest Park is one of the small forest park as Avitourism site in Sumatra. Aceh Birder also make the policy for protecting birds in the Bur Mulo Forest with local people of the Hakim Bale Bujang village.

Migratory waterbirds in East Aceh of Sumatra
The seminar and training of Sumatran Bird and Bird Banding was attended by students, Birders of Aceh province, Birders of North Sumatra province, Lecturer of the Faculty of Science-University of Syiah Kuala (Unsyiah) and the public.
Seminar and Training: Sumatran Bird and Bird Banding
This activity discussed the biological aspects of birds and general status of Endangered birds in the world where located in Sumatra, both endemic and non-endemic and also medical aspects (veterinary) in particular. Agus Nurza (Aceh Birder leader) was as keynote speaker in seminar.
This activity took place on 19 to 21 February 2016 by the Himpus-Faculty of Medicine Unsyiah, shared and supported by Aceh Birder, Tahura Pocut Meurah Intan and Indonesian Bird Banding Schemes (IBBS).

Bird Ecotourism Program; Aceh Birder has supported Birds Conservation efforts in Aceh, Sumatra
Aceh Birder promoting bird tourism in Sumatra to support bird conservation effort. Hopefully, with this program can promote to local people especially to government to protect forest with high birds-biodiversity. A lot of the rare birds in Sumatra, where it is threatened by habitat loss and capture for the wildlife trade. These program has published at Serambi Indonesia news paper on 16.08.2015.
